The essence of music is live performance.

 

The chemistry between a musician as he plays his soul and his audience who listen intently, hanging on to every note is the most enchanting part of performing live.  As a musician, besides leading the audience’s emotion, you may also be lead by the audience. I do record this clash with my camera.  

 

The edge of frame of each photograph makes a cut between what is recorded and what is not. Each image, each moment, relies on something outside it for meaning, something that cannot be seen. That is part of what makes living so intricate and beautiful.
